Lawyer Risks Suspension For Photoshopping Herself Into Celebrity Photos

A California attorney who allegedly Photoshopped herself into photographs with President Barack Obama, Kim Kardashian and Jamie Foxx could have her license suspended for six months.

Svitlana Sangary allegedly doctored the images to attract new clients. The State Bar Association is recommending that her license be suspended for six months and that she be put on probation for three years for “deceptive advertising.”

Sangary also appeared in images of Paris Hilton, Hillary Clinton, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Donald Trump and others. In some of the photographs the image of Sangary is identical, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The State Bar says many if not all of the photographs “were created by taking original celebrity photos and then overlaying [Sangary’s] image in order to make it appear as though [Sangary] was in the presence of that celebrity.”

More than 50 of the pictures appeared on Sangary’s website for two years while she avoided a disciplinary conference with the court, said State Bar Court Judge Donald F. Miles.

The Bar decision is awaiting approval from the California Supreme Court.
