New photos have emerged of Hungarian-American actress and icon Zsa Zsa Gabor's final days before her death.
The Daily Mail reports that Gabor passed away at her home in Bel Air, Los Angeles, at the age of 99. Gabor reportedly suffered ill health during the last years of her life, ever since she was partly paralyzed in a car accident in 2002. That was followed by a stroke in 2005, a partial leg amputation in 2011, and hospitalization for a severe throat infection in 2012.
Gabor was an actress who rose to fame because of her flamboyant personality, as well as the string of famous men she married and then divorced. She married a total of nine times, including to hotel magnate Conrad Hilton, making her the great-aunt of Paris Hilton.

Gabor outlived both her sisters, Magda and Eva, also well-known actresses and socialites. Much like her great-niece, Gabor was famous for being famous. Her thick Hungarian accent was often parodied, as was her penchant for calling everyone "darling."
Gabor also had a quick wit. She once said, “[The reason] I call everyone ‘darling’ is because I can’t remember their names.”
Another famous Gabor line: “I’m a great housekeeper. I get divorced. I keep the house.”

According to People magazine, Gabor was arrested in 1989 after an altercation with a Beverly Hills police officer, where she reportedly slapped the officer. Gabor later went on Larry King and claimed that the officer told her to "F off," though that claim has been unsubstantiated.
Celebrities such as Joan Collins and Barbara Eden took to social media to share their memories of Gabor and offer their condolences.
Gabor had one daughter, Francesca, with ex-husband Conrad Hilton. Francesca passed away in 2014.
