A waitress working at the Waffle House in Kingsport, Tennessee, received a tip for $600.
It may seem unbelievable, but that’s exactly what happened to 21-year-old Lauren Ball, reports the Kingsport Times-News.
While waiting on two men in their 20s, Ball struck up a conversation with them on the topic of Harry Potter.
She mentioned that she had recently graduated from National College in Bristol, Tennessee, and that her father was taking her and her son, Colton, to the beach as a graduation present.

She had just thrown Colton a Spongebob-themed party for his second birthday, and said it had cost her $700 including the cake and a Fisher-Price truck.
Colton's father was unemployed, she noted, so she had to pay for the whole party by herself, which left her broke.
The two customers were moved by her story, because after paying their bill in the amount of $24.49, they left her $600 gratuity.

That one tip, Ball noted, was bigger than her whole weekly paycheck. "The fact that someone would do something so nice for me, it's just the craziest thing to me," she said. "I can't thank them enough." It took her breath away, she added, claiming the big-tippers to be angels.
The big tippers even contacted her later to ask how her trip had turned out, Today.com reported.
