Kim Ridley Uses Scantily Clad Daughter Lexxa to Sell his Car on eBay
When you anticipate difficulty in selling your old car, you take the best possible photos using the best possible angles and you make the car look as attractive as it can.
To one Oregon man, this meant taking pictures of his scantily clad daughter in front of his car, which he then put on eBay.
According to The Week, Kim Ridley sold his 1977 Datsun, with 49k miles on it, for $7,500. Part of its easy sell was likely due to the provocative photos he posted.
All of the car photos feature his 20-year-old daughter Lexxa, wearing no pants, and in various sexually suggestive poses. One pose is Lexxa bending over on the trunk of the car, showing off her behind while staring at the camera with a seductive expression.
Another photo shows Lexxa leaning against the hood of the car. This photo barely shows the car at all, and its clear the focus of the image is on Lexxa and her cleavage.
The public is shocked at the father's decision to use the images.
David Gianatasio at AdWeek said the father-daughter relationship "puts a strange and newly unwholesome spin on the already questionable 'Sex sells' motif."
Lindsay Cross at Mommyish said it's clear that the father is selling his daughter's sexuality. "This is a crotch shot on the Internet to make dad a little money," she said.
But Ridley doesn't have regrets about using his daughter's sexuality to sell his car. "If I felt bad about it, I wouldn't do it," he said.

Oh please! Our family goes to nude beaches together. You don't see each other the way you do other people. I'm told it has something to do with our immune system and a gland at the top of our nose. We are not repulsed by similar immune systems, but we are not attracted to them. So families can be completely nude together like we are and there isn't anything sexual about it.
This ended up being his daughter's girlfriend anyway. She wasn't at all related to the photographer.
I don't appreciate slamming the daughter's friend, they were just having fun.
I really hate the two-faced comments I see posted. People chastize families for not knowing their children, and the other side chastizes families for abusing their children. My Mum and Dad, sister and brother, are an almost daily part of my life. No man is going to control me because of some preconception of dominance. I talk openly about my relationships with my entire family. I've graduated with a degree, am employed and paying off my house at an accelerated rate. Have good friends where mutual respect and deep felt trust is ever present.

Most people I know don't talk openly with their parents. I have my own home and I don't have tons of friends, but our 6-pack is great. We'll sip on something now and then, but we are too busy every day after work to be hanging out at bars or getting numb-faced.
People choose not to be constructive. I think it's boring. Our 6 pack is either going places, feeding our pet alligator (wild), cooking together, building onto something, used to study together...
I'm greatful to my fam for a fabulous outlook on life!

I can understand how this
I can understand how this scrawny, graffiti billboard would do well trying to sell it on certain corners in the world, but I dont get how she would be a positive addition to the pictures of the car. Personally I would want to keep her in a closet so know one would associate me with her in any way.
