Kim Kardashian is going to be more cautious about what she posts on social media after a recent armed robbery incident.
TMZ reports that sources close to Kardashian claim that she admits those in the media who have criticized her for flaunting her wealth are right. There are some who believe that her ostentatious displays of wealth on social media are what led to her recent assault and armed robbery at an apartment in Paris.
Kardashian was zip-tied by intruders and left in a bathtub while her $4.5 million diamond ring and other valuables were taken.
US Magazine reports that Kim’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, posted a long passage from her daily prayer book to social media:
Popular VideoThis young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true.
"Remember that joy is not dependent on your circumstances. Some of the world's most miserable people are those whose circumstances seem the most enviable. People who reach the top of the ladder career-wise are often surprised to find emptiness awaiting them. True Joy is a by-product of living in My Presence. Therefore you can experience it in palaces, in prisons … anywhere. Do not judge a day as devoid of Joy just because it contains difficulties. Instead, concentrate on staying in communication with Me. Many of the problems that clamor for your attention will resolve themselves. Other matters you must deal with, but I will help you with them. If you make problem-solving secondary to the goal of living close to Me, you can find joy even in your most difficult days."
TMZ also reports that Kardashian is taking a month off of work, and that when she returns she won’t be displaying her personal wealth on social media anymore, even cutting back on the promotion of her fashion line.
Sources close to Kardashian claim she told them, “Material things mean nothing. It’s not all about the money. It’s not worth it.”
