Kellyanne Conway Punches Man At Inaugural Event

| by Denise Recalde

Kellyanne Conway, special counselor to President Donald Trump, reportedly punched a disorderly man wearing a tuxedo during the Liberty Ball in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 20 following the inauguration, onlookers say.

Conway stepped in when the two larger men began to fight at the Washington Convention Center.

As the fight between the two ensued, Conway intervened and punched one of them with a closed fist in the face at least three times, a witness said, the Daily Mail reports.

A Fox Business Channel reporter vouched for the witness' statement.

It is unclear what provoked the fight.

The Liberty Ball was one of the inaugural parties held in Washington, D.C., to celebrate Trump's taking the oath of office.

As the fight intensified, Conway began throwing "mean punches" at one of the fighters.

"Inside the ball we see a fight between two guys in tuxes and then suddenly out of nowhere came Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway who began throwing some mean punches at one of the guys," Fox Business Channel’s Charlie Gasparino wrote on his Facebook page.

"Whole thing lasted a few mins no one was hurt except maybe the dude she smacked. Now I know why Trump hired her."

The fight began near a VIP Section following the conclusion of the first dance between Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

Other altercations took place at the Liberty Ball on Inauguration day.

Gasparino stated he managed to stop an attempted attack against "Charles in Charge" star Scott Baio as the pair walked toward the ball.

A protestor allegedly called Baio a "f***ng fascist" and attacked him. Gasparino reportedly "stopped [the] thug from attacking" Baio.

Another group of protesting citizens drew near Baio and his wife, Renee, as they enjoyed the Freedom Ball the same night and had to be "extracted by police."

The event marks the latest of attacks on Baio for his support for Trump.

In December, the actor reportedly tussled with the wife of the Red Hot Chili Pepper's drummer Chad Smith at an elementary school event attended by both their children.

Smith's wife, Nancy Mack, allegedly began insulting Baio and shouted "grab 'em by the p***y," while at one point grabbing him, TMZ reports.

The Ventura County District Attorney has yet to decide whether to press charges against Mack for the incident.

Baio has been a longtime supporter of Trump since the early phase of the president's campaign.

From the nation's capital, on Jan. 19, he stated: "I'm looking forward to seeing the guy I backed take the oath of office. I'm looking to get the country back on track."

His hope is "the resurgence of the United States of America and the resurgence of the American dream," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
