Is this the end of the road for the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" television show?
Production on the reality television show allegedly ceased following the alleged armed robbery of Kim Kardashian in Paris in early October, according to TMZ.
The gossip channel also reported that the Kardashian family was going to extend the hiatus even further as a result of the continued hospitalization of Kim’s husband, Kanye West.
Ever since his wife was held up at gunpoint, Kanye has not been the same, reports CNN. That incident “did a number on him as much as Kim," said the source. "The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin."
Popular VideoThis young teenage singer was shocked when Keith Urban invited her on stage at his concert. A few moments later, he made her wildest dreams come true.
After cutting a concert short and canceling his tour, Kanye checked into Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, suffering from alleged exhaustion. As of Nov. 30, he has not been released.
Sources connected to the reality show say that “producers have enough footage for the series commitment, but the plan was to film through the holidays, and that won't happen,” the Daily Mail reports. The matriarch of the ever-popular program, Kris Jenner, is reportedly “rethinking everything."
However, E! reported Nov. 29 that production of the show has not been halted, and that filming for next season will continue, Variety notes.
Variety also contends that new footage was shot even after Kim Kardashian’s robbery. If so, viewers can expect to get the inside scoop on her frightening ordeal when they watch next season’s installment of the show, which stars Kim, her mother Kris, and siblings Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie.
