Ismaaiyl Brinsley, the man who murdered New York Police Department Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, reportedly helped sell t-shirts that promoted the killing of George Zimmerman, the man responsible for the death of Trayvon Martin in 2012.

According to Got News, Brinsley belonged to a Facebook group called “F**k George Zimmerman” in which he posted a link to buy t-shirts with Zimmerman’s name behind a target.

“Order Now! Inbox For More Information!” Brinsley wrote along with a photo of the t-shirt.

In another post in the same group, Brinsley reportedly wrote that he hoped supporters of George Zimmerman would “catch AIDS and die from lupus.”

On Saturday, Brinsley ambushed Liu and Ramos while they sat in their patrol cars in Brooklyn. Armed with a gun, Brinsley reportedly shot the two officers at point blank range, murdering them before they even had a chance to look up at their killer. After he murdered the officers, Brinsley went to a nearby subway platform and took his own life.
