Illinois police are searching for an Iraq War veteran and mother after she was reported missing Jan. 5.
Thirty-one year old Brenda Jackson’s husband and mother contacted police after last being seen by her father, who dropped her home Jan. 3, the Daily Mail reports.
"We said, 'Goodbye. I love you honey. I will see you tomorrow,'" recalls her father, Jose Gonzales, ABC reports.
She spoke to her mother that night on the phone and was due for work at 5:30 am the next day but never showed up, the mother explains.

Soon after, Jackson’s loved one searched all over Park Forest in freezing temperatures to find the woman.
“We love her. We want her home and we'll do whatever it takes. We are going to find her," family friend Carol Lantz said.
Jackson is a mother to six children, the youngest being only four months old.
"She would never just disappear. She wouldn't. She's got children,” Jackson’s sister Veronica Gonzales said.

Jackson’s mother, Maria Gonzales, agrees with Veronica.
“She gave 100 per cent to everybody. She loves her children,” she said.
“Anybody who knows her has even mentioned this is out of character for her,” Gonzalez added, reports NBC. “This isn’t what she would do unless she was harmed or was forced to do it.”
The mother also added Jackson left behind her purse, ID card, jacket and gloves.
Police are following up on all leads.
“We have a report of a possible sighting in Chicago,” said Dep. Chief Christopher Mannino with the Park Forest Police Department. “We are following up now with the Chicago Police Department about that.”
Jackson is described as a Hispanic woman with star tattoos on her neck, a heart drawn on her ring finger, and “Michael” tattooed on her left inner wrist. She is about five feet tall and weights 125 pounds.
Police are asking anybody who may know where Jackson is to contact the Park Forest Police Department Investigations Division at (708) 748-1309.
