A Las Vegas hospital reportedly sent linens to a laundry facility to be washed -- and didn't realize the remains of two dead babies were wrapped up inside of the sheets.

The medical laundry company Angelica made the horrific discovery Tuesday after it received a shipment of linens from Spring Valley Hospital, reports Fox News

The fetuses were reportedly 16-week-old twins that had been miscarried by the mother in another location, who then brought the babies to the hospital already wrapped in sheets, reports the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"We are currently reviewing the situation to determine what occurred. However, the remains are currently in the hospital's possession, and we are working with the family at this time," the hospital said in a statement.
