At least 14 people are missing and feared dead following a gas explosion at an old Soviet-era apartment building in Russia on Monday. Part of the building later collapsed -- a stunning moment captured on videotape.

The Daily Mail reports officials suspect that natural gas caused the explosion in the building in Astrakhan, about 800 miles from Moscow.

In addition to the people still missing, 12 others were injured.
