An employee at Disneyland Paris was reportedly found dead inside the Phantom Manor haunted house attraction.

The body of a 45-year-old father, who worked for the theme park for 14 years, was discovered at the haunted house attraction at around 10:00 a.m. on April 2, Metro reports.

Police are investigating the worker’s death, but they believe he may have been electrocuted while doing maintenance work on the attraction. He was reportedly working on the lighting in the haunted house when he died.

Patrick Maldidier, a representative for Disneyland’s staff union, said in a statement that the man was well-liked by his coworkers and was "always smiling."

A spokesperson for the park said the staff were "deeply saddened" by the man’s death and offered condolences to his family.

The Phantom Manor was closed upon the discovery of the worker’s body. The attraction may be closed for several days while police continue the investigation.
