NRA's Wayne LaPierre: 2nd-Term Obama Would "Destroy" Gun Rights

"The fight is on and the NRA is ALL IN!" says NRA CEO and EVP Wayne LaPierre at the 2012 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C. "When the sun goes down on election day," he says, "Barack Obama will have America's gun owners to thank for his defeat."

Wayne is simply, an idiot. He has no evidence for his statement and just wants to drive donations to his group. I believe in the 2nd Amendment and its' right to an individual to possess arms. But the NRA commonly fights against the most basic regulations. For example, they oppose background checks at gun shows, where individuals can buy a gun even if they are a violent felon, by just lying about their felon record. Again, these aren't non-violent felons (who probably should have the right to own arms when they completed their sentence) but those with violent records.
