Video: Sean Hannity Defends AR-15 Assault Weapon, Used at Newtown and Aurora Shootings

| by Michael Allen

Sean Hannity recently devoted a special episode of his Fox News show to defend the National Rifle Association and the AR-15, the assault weapon used in the Newtown, Connecticut and Aurora, Colorado mass shootings, reports (video below).

Hannity did an extensive interview with NRA executive vice president Wayne LaPierre and a panel discussion about guns.

Hannity also included world-champion shooter Jessie Duff firing weapons, including the AR-15 assault rifle, at a NRA gun range in Fairfax, Virginia.

Duff called the AR-15 "probably one of the most popular rifles in the U.S. right now, thanks to all the media attention."

Duff fired a hunting rifle, a shotgun, and two handguns to demonstrate the differences in the damage they cause and the fact that the AR-15 left the smallest bullet holes.

Duff said the AR-15 "is the least of your worries."
