Rancher Cliven Bundy Wants Feds to Point Guns at 'Enemy' Immigrants (Audio)
Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy has long complained about the federal government sending armed agents to stop his cattle from grazing on federal land, but fully supports federal agents pointing their guns at undocumented immigrants.
During a recent interview with right wing radio host Pete Santilli, Bundy gave his usual speech about having his Constitutional rights violated by the U.S. government, then defended citizen border militias and advised government agents to aim their guns at immigrants (who are mostly children), noted RightWingWatch.org (audio below).
"Those federal agents, they're pointing their backs against the line to Mexico and pointing their guns at we the people on this side of the line," stated Bundy. "Get your butts turned around and point your guns at the enemy. The enemy is the encroacher that’s illegally coming in here, not we the people."
Bundy failed to mention that the federal agents who came to his property were from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, which does not have jurisdiction over illegal immigration. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Border Patrol have jurisdiction over illegal immigration.
The United Nations is urging the U.S. to classify the undocumented immigrants as "refugees" as many have fled Central American countries because of armed violence, reports CBS Washington D.C.
About 75 percent of the undocumented immigrants are believed to have come from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. More than 52,000 child immigrants have been caught by the U.S. Border Patrol since October 2013.
