Trick-or-treaters are really possessive of their candy. A South Carolina woman learned that first-hand when she jokingly threatened to take a little boy's candy. He responded by pulling a gun. The gun was no Halloween prop -- it was very real.

The Augusta Chronicle reports that the woman was out in her neighborhood Monday night when she saw a few boys that she knew. She said that she was going to take their candy.

One 10-year-old boy didn't take kindly to the joke -- the woman, whose name was not released, told police the boy pulled the gun, pointed it at her and said, "No you're not."

Fortunately the gun was not loaded, but police say the boy had a loaded clip in his pocket. The boy's brother, who is somehow also 10, had a gun on him as well. Aiken police say they took the guns from their grandfather.

The woman called police, who took the boy to a police station to wait for his parents to pick him up.
