A 15-year-old boy out of Albuquerque, N.M. has been charged with the murder of five people, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office announced on Sunday.
According to multiple reports, Nehemiah Griego was arrested late Saturday night after police found two adults and three children slaughtered at a South Valley home on the 2800 block of Long Lane SW. While CNN and the New York Daily News have yet to identify the shooter and victims, The Daily Mail is reporting -- citing sheriff’s office sources -- that Griego was in fact the alleged gunman.
Griego is also being identified as the shooter by krqe.com.
All in all, a man, woman, two boys and a girl were reportedly killed. Each is said to have been shot numerous times. The children involved were "around elementary age," reports krqe.com.
An AR-15 is believed to have been used, according to kob.com.
