Jack Jacquez was reportedly shot by a police officer twice in the back at his home in Rocky Ford, Colo., at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Sara Lindenmuth, who is Jacquez's sister-in-law, claims that a police officer came in the front door and argued with Jacquez.
"He was standing next to his mom, his back turned toward the officer and then he shot him twice in the back and then pepper sprayed him," Lindenmuth told KRDO (video below).

"Then they handcuffed his fiancee, for reasons I don't know why, and the mom went to call the cops and the cop took her phone and threw it against the wall," added Lindenmuth. "[The police officer] just showed up. No one knows why he just showed up. It just all happened unexpectedly."
According to KKTV, the Rocky Ford Police Officer is identified as James Ashby. He has been placed on administrative leave during an investigation of the fatal shooting.
