An unidentified teenager accidentally entered the wrong home after a night of drinking early Sunday morning in Virginia. He was killed by the owner (video below).

According to the Washington Post, the drunk teen had been dropped off by friends at a house  two doors down from where he lived.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office refused to release the names of anyone involved, and only described the shooting as an unknown intruder being killed by a homeowner.

Police believe that the teen may have entered the home through a rear window and was not armed.

Real estate records indicated that the shooting occurred in the home of Donald West Wilder II.

On Monday, the sheriff’s office confirmed to WUSA-TV that the male teen had been a student at Park View High School student.

A Park View High School official told WRC-TV that grief counselors would be available to students on Monday.
