Gun-Toting Senate Candidate Says He'll Shoot The 'Balls Off' Man Who Dismembered Sister (Video)

A candidate for U.S. Senate in Iowa released a semi-humorous campaign ad this week in which he brandishes a gun, but the ad takes an even stranger turn when he threatened to shoot the balls off the man who murdered and dismembered his sister in 1999.

Bob Quast, a former contractor for the U.S. Army, is touting congressional term limits and protecting the Second Amendment as his primary platform.

“Term limits for Congress need to become the 28th Amendment to our U.S. Constitution,” Quast says in the ad. “I believe in every aspect of our constitution, which even a baby knows includes the Second Amendment.”

Then Quast reveals something extremely personal.

"If you are the sexual predator and sociopath who murdered my sister Lynette and you come to my front door to do harm to my girls, I'm going to use my Glock ... To blow your balls off," he smiles.

Quast's sister Lynette was killed by her husband, Thomas Craft, in 1999. Craft pleaded guilty to manslaughter after police found pieces of Lynnette’s body strewn throughout Ann Arbor, Mich.

Under the plea agreement, Craft was released from prison in 2011, Business Insider reported.

In the ad, Quast criticizes his Democratic opponent, Bruce Braley, for wanting to restrict gun ownership.

"Liberals like Bruce Braley want to restrict our gun rights, including this magazine with 15 bullets," Quast says.

"Now, please do not confuse me with Iowa's Republican candidate for U.S. Senate," he adds as the ad flashes an image of a pig.

State Sen. Joni Ernst is the Repbulican candidate, who claims her experience castrating hogs has prepared her to cut spending in D.C.

The ad was posted to Bob Quast's Youtube channel with the title "#GotBalls? Vote for Bob Quast."
