Gun Owners of America Claims Obama is Like Santa Barbara Shooter (Video)

Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America, recently compared Santa Barbara, California shooter Elliot Rodger, who killed six people, to President Obama.

Pratt made his bizarre comparison last week during an online radio interview with Stan Solomon, noted RightWingWatch.org (video below).

Solomon started the discussion by appearing to attack Richard Martinez, who lost a son in the tragic shooting, but mistakenly said he lost a "daughter."

“The father of one of the girls who was killed blamed the NRA, and my response is, ‘You stupid son of a bitch, what the hell is wrong with you? If you had taught your daughter how to have and use a weapon, she might still be alive,’” said Solomon, reports RawStory.com.

Neither Solomon or Pratt could explain why not one brave gun owner was able to stop Rodger's killing spree.

Pratt then claimed, without evidence, that Rodger did not have a “traditional kind of family life" and did not have any "rear-end warming from time to time," which would have made him "a normal kid."

“I think that the parents deserve a lot of the credit slash blame for bringing up a son like that," claimed Pratt, even though Rodger's parents have paid for their son's therapy for years.

After blaming the parents, Pratt and Solomon moved on to Rodger’s 141-page manifesto, which was filled with anger against beautiful girls for having sex with "brutes" instead of himself.

Pratt said that Rodger “clearly reflects the thinking of a person like our president, who’s extremely narcissistic and it’s all about me, all about me.”

However, once again, Pratt failed to provide any evidence to support his wild claim.
