A Walmart shopper in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, recently caught a kind shopper’s good deed on film.
Young mother Katie Kanefke was struggling to pay for groceries and supplies for her 4-month-old child. She wanted to buy four packages of diapers, but had to settle for only one when the store cashier wouldn’t match a competitor’s price.
A nearby woman named Carol Flynn saw Kanefke’s dilemma and decided to help out. Flynn walked over and bought Kanefke $120 worth of diapers.
As you might expect, Kanefke was left speechless.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Kanefke said. “I was shocked. I kept saying, 'Thank you,' and, 'God bless you.' Then I walked out in the parking lot and started crying. It just hit me.”
Flynn says the decision to help was an easy one for her.
“Diapers are for babies, and babies are on my heart,” she said. “We’re always concerned about moms and healthy babies.”
She told the Argus Leader that helping a child means more to her than money.

“You can’t take it with you,” Flynn said. “I just think we should do things like that. That’s my kind of thinking.”
Flynn encouraged Kanefke to pay the good deed forward one day when she’s able to.
