Video: Geraldo Rivera Suggests Lesbians are 'Ruling' the Department of Homeland Security

Speaking on 'Fox and Friends,' on Friday, Geraldo Rivera suggested that lesbians had instigated a “same sex takeover” of the Department of Homeland Security (video below).

Rivera's comments came as the panel was discussing James Hayes, an official with the New York’s Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), who is suing Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano for allegedly passing him over for a promotion because he is a man.

Rivera said: "I have a question for you. Is the subtext of the Department of Homeland Security scandal that there is some kind of lesbian cabal? That there is some kind of same sex takeover of this agency?”

“What do you think,” asked co-host Steve Doocy.

Rivera answered: “It just seems like everyone is talking around it. Is that really what people are saying? That men are disadvantaged and that women, specifically lesbians, are ruling the roost there?” It just seems that everyone is dancing around, making these inferences."

“No machos need apply,” Rivera later joked.
