Video: Ex-Gay Group Distributes Anti-Gay Flyer in Maryland Schools
Public high schools in Montgomery County, Maryland, are being criticized by parents for distributing a flyer from Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays to students (video below).
On the one-page flyer (pictured, left), the group tells teenagers that no one is "born gay" and "sexual orientation is based on feelings." The flyer also says that "formerly gay men and women are discriminated against simply because they dare to exist."
Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays board member Peter Sprigg defended the flyer: "If people were to actually read the content of the flyer that we're distributing, they will see there is nothing in here that is insulting or even critical of homosexuals. All it is telling kids [is] that you don't have to be gay if you don't want to be."
The group is taking advantage of school board policy in Montgomery County that says if a group can prove it is a non-profit, community entity, it can send flyers home with students on four occasions a year. Most of the time, it is the PTA or the Girl Scouts that send home flyers.

Strange, whenever a Wiccan, atheist or atheist group tries to utilize this ability to give fliers, especially in the Deep South, than the policy changes the same day.

The school board also has a responsibility to prevent discriminatory propaganda from being distributed through the schools. Would they allow a non-profit nazi organization to publish a flyer saying the holocaust never happened?
This is absurd and it will most likely result in a lawsuit.
