Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz recently asked gun owners to no longer bring their weapons into the coffee giant's stores.

Not surprisingly, gun supporters have not taken this news well. Sandy Rios, of the American Family Association, predicted the next gun massacre would be at a Starbucks because of this request.

NRA News commentator Colion Noir recently slammed Starbucks for their decision as well (video below).

He fondly recalled how he studied for law school at Starbucks with a weapon, noted BizPacReview.com.

“I spent a third of my life studying in Starbucks to get through law school and every single time it was me, my law books, Mrs. Caramel Cappuccino and Mr. Glock 19,” said Noir.

He also compared gun owners to gay people being discriminated against.

"In the wake of Starbucks coming out of the proverbial anti-gun closet - yes, I said anti-gun - because when you request that I don't bring my gun with me into your store, that's an anti-gun stance. Think about it," stated Noir.

"When you say 'We're not pro or anti-gay, but please all gay people, we respectfully ask that you not bring your gayness into the store. I mean, we'll still serve you, but if you can leave the gayness at the door, we would much appreciate it.' Now if that's what they said I highly doubt Tom Ford would go start designing a black Tuscan coffee signature cologne in support of this stance."
