A Nebraska woman is suing all homosexuals.
Auburn resident Sylvia Driskell, 66, filed a federal lawsuit on Friday against all Americans who identify as homosexual. Calling herself an ambassador for God and Jesus Christ, Driskell intends to raise questions "in the matter of homosexuality. Is homosexuality a sin, or not a sin?"
Driskell wrote a seven-page letter fraught with spelling and grammar errors as the basis for her lawsuit. The petition heavily references Bible verses, claiming that God has decreed homosexuality to be an abomination. Driskell asserts “that homosexuality is a sin and that they the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality. Why else would they have been hiding in the closet[?]”
Driskell does not believe that she, Nebraska or America should tolerate those with same-sex inclinations. “I never thought that I would see a day in which our great nation or our own great state of Nebraska would become so compliant to the complicity of some people[’s] lewd behavior,” she wrote, suggesting that all heterosexuals silently condone homosexuality by not taking a harsh stance against it.

The lawsuit strongly questions the Constitutional notion of separation of church and state; however, Driskell maintains that she has the founding fathers’ original intent in mind.
The Nebraskan, who is representing herself in court, believes that she is taking a stand for the moral principles of America, suggesting that this country has swayed very far off the path of moral fortitude upon which it was originally founded.
She implored the court to think hard on this, asking if the justice system would indeed find God a liar.
It is unclear what solution she proposes for the approximately 3.4 percent of American adults who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender.
