Man's 'Go Directly To Jail' Shirt Proved To Be A Tad Too Predictive

| by Dominic Kelly

One lucky guy may have predicted his own future when he decided to wear a Monopoly-themed shirt that reads, “Go directly to jail.”

20-year-old Micah Dailey of Cape Coral, Florida, was arrested on Tuesday for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ironically, when Dailey was booked for the crime, he posed in his mug shot wearing the Monopoly board game-themed shirt that reads, “Go directly to jail.”

Sergeant Scott Lineberger told the New York Daily News that they found the situation to be funny when they realized the shirt that he was wearing.

“It had an element of humor to it,” Lineberger said.

Dailey was reportedly held for seven hours before posting $6,500 bail. He is set to appear in court on December 1; let’s just hope he decides to wear a less predictive shirt.
