A sign spinner has been arrested and deemed too enthusiastic after a driver complained that his dancing on the street was distracting drivers.
Ryan Brown, 22, was holding a sign for Cornerstone Tiles and Flooring in West Palm Beach when a deputy arrested him on Tuesday afternoon.
A driver flagged down the deputy to complain that the sign spinner’s little routine was too distracting, according to the arrest report.
Brown allegedly stepped off the sidewalk and walked on the street with headphones on while holding the sign. The deputy yelled at Brown to come speak to him at a nearby gas station, according to CBS 12.

“I explained to him why I made contact with him and he started yelling at me telling me he is a working man, not allowing me to tell him why I had chat with him,” the report stated.
Brown reportedly tried to reach into his pocket, but the deputy told him not to. Brown did not comply and was arrested on misdemeanor charges of failure to obey police, obstruction of a roadway and resisting arrest without violence.
He was booked into Palm Beach County Jail around 1 p.m. and released four hours later.
His run-in with the law will not jeopardize his job, his boss and owner of Cornerstone Tile Flooring, Inc., Hector Peart, said.

“He will be back to hold the sign,” Peart told the Sun Sentinel. “He will just have to do it a little differently.”
Peart described Brown’s arrest as “unfair.”
"He loves to dance, and some people like it and some don't," he said.
