Ferguson Grand Jury Will Not Indict Darren Wilson In Shooting Of Michael Brown

| by Charles Roberts

A grand jury has decided not to indict Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown, according to USA Today.

On August 9, Brown was shot and killed by Wilson during a physical confrontation between the two. There were multiple witnesses at and near the scene, however, none could come to a consensus regarding what specifically happened.

Some suggested that the 18-year-old Brown had his hands up when Wilson fired at him; others accused Brown of attacking Wilson and reaching for his gun.

Schools in the area were shut were down in anticipation of this announcement, and protests are expected to rage for at least the next few days.
