A father and son made a gruesome discovery while walking around Buffalo Bayou in Houston, Texas, on Aug. 3.

The father, who has not been identified, spotted a human arm connected to a rib cage. The son found the rest of the body about 20 feet away CW39 reported.

Despite the body being in pieces and the advanced decay, investigators were able to identify the 48-year-old victim, Click 2 Houston reported.  Authorities won’t name him until the medical examiner identifies his next of kin.

Investigators don’t suspect foul play.

“The appearance is that the person either jumped from the bridge or fell from the bridge,” said Det. Fil Waters.

This is not the first time a body has been found in Buffalo Bayou. On July 18, the body of Luke Lubrano, 40, was removed from the water. An autopsy determined there was no indication of trauma, according to the city of Houston.
