Family Receives Clue About Mother Who Went Missing 10 Years Ago

| by Jonathan Constante

An Oklahoma family that has been searching for their missing mother for nearly a decade received a mysterious letter this week telling them where to look for the body.

Tina Pitts disappeared from her Tulsa apartment complex in 2006, FOX23 reported. The family says they received a message written on a napkin that has them more desperate for answers than ever before. The message was reportedly left on Pitts' mother's doorstep.

The message reads:

"Look up under the part of the shop that he had added on after your daughter became missing on Apache Shield guy shop on Apache..."

Neighbors say they last saw Pitts around 2 to 3 a.m. on November 5, 2006, with her ex-boyfriend, according to projectjason.org.

Pitt’s three children told FOX23 that the mysterious message has them frustrated, but hopeful at the same time.

“It makes me feel  angry, it makes me feel sad and at the same time it kind of gives light in my heart,” Courtney Richardson explained.

Richardson said the letter is the best lead they’ve had since their mother went missing. The family is now begging for whoever put the letter on their grandmother’s door to come forward.

“On Memorial Day we want to go to the cemetery, on Mother's Day we want to go see our mama somewhere,” Richardson said. “So please just help us find our mama whoever y'all are.”
