Private photos of actress Emma Watson were stolen and leaked online, with rumors circulating they showed her nude.
The photos, which were taken of Watson during a fitting for a swimsuit, were leaked after her computer was reportedly hacked. The photos were posted alongside pictures of a woman in a bathtub with her face hidden, which Watson denied were of her.
In a statement, the actress' representative denied that any nude photos were of her but confirmed that photos from the clothes fitting were stolen.
"Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen," the spokesman's statement read. "They are not nude photographs. Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further."

The leak came following controversy surrounding Watson posing partially topless for a Vanity Fair shoot. She is currently promoting her newest movie, Disney's live action "Beauty and the Beast."
In 2015, the actress was threatened with a leak after making a speech about gender equality.
"I knew it was a hoax, I knew the pictures didn't exist, but I think a lot of people that were close to me knew gender equality was an issue but didn't think it was that urgent, that it was a thing of the past," she said at the time, Daily Mail reported. "And then when they saw that the minute I stood up talking about women's rights I was immediately threatened, I think they were really shocked, my brother was particularly upset."

Many readers brushed off story as an attempt for publicity on the part of Watson.
"Oh, come on this is just capitalism in action," one reader commented. "If you choose to be a celeb, your 'brand' might make money, not only for yourself but for other people as well. Emma, stop being so precious!"
Others questioned whether the photos were actually from a swimsuit fitting.
"Pathetic excuses," said another reader. "So you took pics of a swimsuit fitting where you were nude and kept the pics so now they are all over the internet. Sounds more like you had nude pics and they were hacked. People aren't stupid. Swimsuit fitting. Lol. Your silly lies show how immature you are."
"A swimsuit fitting?" questioned another. "She cant just walk in to a shop like a normal person?"
"I didn't realise people needed fittings for swimsuits," said another commenter. "They tend to stretch or can adjust to pretty much any body shape."
