Thugs Mistake Flash Mob for Gay Protesters, Beat Them Up (Video)
Last Sunday in Irkutsk, Russia, a group of thugs assaulted some students who were participating in a St. Patrick's Day-themed flash mob.
According to AFP, the thugs thought the language students at the Siberian mall were pro-gay demonstrators (video below).
"The Easy School members were wearing historic costumes, particularly kilts and their opponents mistook them for representatives of non-traditional sexual orientation," a police spokesperson told Interfax News, noted AsiaOne.com.
One teacher received a mild concussion during the assault.
The school posted a video of the assault and stated, "Yes, our students and teachers were among the injured, but it could have been any young people who weren't to the taste of these grey masses."
