Phoenix Williams recently filmed two classmates harassing him and using the n-word on a school bus during a field trip.

The bullies reportedly threatened Phoenix and said they would break his cellphone, which he used to film them, if he told someone.

Phoenix has come forward with the video, but now the eighth-grader is scared to return to Bloomfield Hills Middle School in Michigan and is doing his schoolwork at home.

"I really don't feel safe going back to school, at all, because both of them are going to be there," Phoenix told Click On Detroit (video below).

Phoenix's mother, Shanari, wants the bullies expelled, but claims they were suspended, one for two weeks, the other for two days.

The superintendent of the Bloomfield Hills School District declined to discuss the punishments.

The school district and the boy's mother reportedly called the police who are investigating the incident, along with Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper.

According to, the family of one of the bullies stated, "As parents we are both embarrassed and disappointed by this inexcusable behavior by our son. Under no circumstances do we condone such behavior."
