Announcing the book on his radio show today, Limbaugh said it "does not have an agenda" and "there's no politics in this."

The controversial talk show host said the book would focus on "American Exceptionalism," which is the claim that God has made the U.S. an "exceptional" country.

"American Exceptionalism" does not appear in the Bible or any other religious text, but began when writer Alexis de Tocqueville described the United States as "exceptional" in 1831 and 1840.

According to RushLimbaugh.com, the lead character "Rush Revere" is a substitute school teacher, with a talking horse, who takes some students back in time to the first Thanksgiving.

Limbaugh added: "America's young people are, sadly, not being taught what is in this book. And what's in this book is the historical record, accurate historical record of the Pilgrims. It's who they were, why they existed, where they were, how they got here, what they did when they got here, and what they did and why it mattered and related to the founding of this country."
