With help from her 7-year-old son, police arrested a Florida woman on drug and child neglect charges.

Briana Buchanan, 26, was arrested last Friday.

Buchanan’s young son had reportedly told her boyfriend’s brother, Peter Arnold, that he wanted to show him “mommy’s bad stuff.”

Peter was living with Buchanan and her boyfriend at their Edgewater home.

According to My New 13, the young boy told him, “There’s really bad stuff in my mom’s car that I want to show you.”

As described in the arrest report, the boy took Peter to his mother’s car, opened the trunk and pointed to a bag.

Peter told 911 that he spotted materials in the bag that he thought were used to make meth.

According to Daytona Beach News, when the Edgewater Police Department searched the trunk of the car, they found all sorts of materials used in the manufacturing of meth, including chemicals, 22 syringes, a hot plate, coffee filters and plastic bottles.

Buchanan was arrested; WESH reports that her son is now staying with his grandmother. Buchanan is being held on $32,000 bail.
