Police in Plainfield, Indiana, were responding to a call about domestic violence in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart on April 13 when they discovered a mobile meth lab.
Police received reports of a man, later identified as Stephen Bailey of Terre Haute, Indiana, allegedly striking a woman in the parking lot of a local Wal-Mart. Bailey was found sitting in his silver Pontiac and Plainfield Police Cpt. Jill Lees said police learned there was a drug producing operation in the vehicle.

After obtaining a search warrant, police found materials used to create methamphetamine in the car. Bailey was arrested and he has been charged with domestic battery, possession or sale of drug precursors, and manufacturing of illegal drugs. The woman in the case has not been identified.
Police told WISH that the location of the meth lab made the situation very dangerous. Part of the parking lot was closed for three hours while police investigated. The vehicle was towed away from the store that evening.
