A ten pound shipment of marijuana wound up at a Kmart store in Seattle on Monday after it started its journey in Los Angeles.
Authorities say the shipment was intended to arrive in Philadelphia, though they are not elaborating on how this information was obtained.
Workers at the store received the package around around noon. They opened the package, which contained marijuana wrapped in garbage bags, shipping peanuts and Korean newspaper.
The package was addressed to the store, at Aurora Avenue N in Seattle, but it was meant for an "undisclosed location in Philadelphia."
Authorities do not know if the marijuana was for medicinal, recreational or scientific purposes.
