A video of woman being dragged out of an airplane by police has surfaced online (video below).
The incident occurred on Dec. 12 at around 8 a.m., WWJ reported. A woman, whose name was not released, was reportedly refusing to leave Delta flight 2038 at Detroit Metropolitan Airport before it took off for San Diego.
Rene deLambert, one of the passengers on the plane, said the woman "blew by gate agent and didn't check in," KSWB reported. DeLambert added that the woman was not an "early boarder" and was demanding overhead bin space.
The recording shows an officer dragging the woman across the floor by her arms. Several passengers can be seen expressing their shock as they watch the woman being dragged out of the aircraft.

The woman was arrested for violation of airport ordinance, and failure to leave the aircraft, an airline spokesperson said. She has not yet been formally charged.
"When officers arrived, Delta Air Lines stated the woman could not remain on board," Delta spokesperson Erica Donerson said. "Despite repeated requests by officers, the woman refused to leave the aircraft and had to be removed. She was arrested and charges are pending."
No injuries were reported after the incident. The flight was only briefly delayed, and eventually took off at 8:30 a.m.

This is the second bizarre incident on a Delta Air Lines flight since the end of November.
In late November a man was recorded harassing supporters of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and declaring his support for President-elect Donald Trump, KSWB News reported. The man referred to his fellow passengers as "Hillary b****es."
The airline apologized to passengers, and said the man has been banned and will never fly with Delta again. The airline also refunded every passenger on that flight.
