Woman Stabs Fiancé Over Argument About Wedding Colors

A South Carolina woman allegedly stabbed her fiancé on Christmas during an argument over their wedding colors.

Richland County deputies responded to a call at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home near Blythewood.

Krysta James, 34, was arrested for allegedly stabbing her fiancé when he tried to leave their home.

James’ fiancé, who was not identified, was stabbed in the upper body. He was transported to Providence Hospital by witnesses at the scene.

Sgt. Curtis Wilson of the Richland County Sheriff's Office said his wounds were non-life threatening.

James was charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.

No report on which colors sparked the altercation.
