A woman in New York is facing felony charges for getting married 10 different times over the course of 11 years, without ever getting divorced.

According to reports, 39-year-old Liana Barrientos was charged with two counts of filing a fraudulent marriage license application and a fraudulent license, both of which carry four-year sentences.

A criminal complaint filed in November revealed that authorities became aware of Barrientos after a probe of her most recent marriage in 2010 to a man named Salle Keita.

“The defendant ... stated in sum and substance that she did marry Mr. Keita and that was her first and only marriage,” the complaint read. Further investigation uncovered nine previous marriages, including six that were all issued over the course of six months.

Barrientos’ first marriage license was issued on Nov. 5th, 1999, to Mohamed Gerbril, and her last was dated August 3rd, 2002 to Kakhaber Khorbaladze. The August 2002 marriage was her sixth in a year. All of the licenses filed by the woman included her Social Security number, date and location of birth and her parents’ names.

Barrientos – who already had a criminal record dating back to 1997 – was originally arrested in November.

Reporters for the New York Daily News attempted to track down Barrientos, but a tenant at an apartment where she lived said that she moved to a homeless shelter.
