Woman Beater Chris Brown Calls Himself a "Role Model"

Chris Brown a role model? Really. No,  it’s not April Fool’s Day. It is what the ego-maniac himself, Chris Brown tweeted last night just minutes after winning a Grammy at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

“People who make mistakes and learn from them are ROLE MODELS too.”

The message has since disappeared from his twitter account. His PR people must have pulled the reigns in telling him, he isn’t in the clear yet. In a number of people’s eyes – he won’t ever be in the clear.

Beating a women is viewed as unforgiveable by most.  Unless you are Rihanna – as she has been rumored to still be ‘sleeping with the enemy’.

Brown’s return to the Grammy stage doesn’t come without criticism, especially when girls tweeted they would allow Brown to beat them. Disturbing. Very. Disturbing.

What do you think – is Chris Brown a role model?  Should he ever be viewed as a role model?

Men that beat women should be put down like the dogs they are. Theyre punishment should be a REAL man beating them half to death for a few weeks.

As my earlier comment indicates, I agree with the concept but I doubt it would really change their behavior. Beating up a jerk may be satisfying but all it changes is you now have a beat-up jerk, but still a jerk.

The idiot should be in jail.

You're correct. If he had not been a celebrity, you would have done some serious time for assault. Do you think he has "learned his lesson"? Sure, if you're famous and rich, you can get away with a lot. That makes him a great role model, doesn't it?

Unfortunately he is a role model. Like most role models kids have he is not a GOOD example but he is a role model.

Yes, you do make a good point. A role model does not mean being a good example. It seems that, far too often, they are very poor examples.

Certainly he's a role model. Find me a better example of some that needs to have sh*t beaten out of him. This smug jerk thinks he can be "sorry" and "learned from his mistakes" he is not longer a bully and an abuser. Maybe if he had his face beaten into mush he would understand that actions have consequences.
