Elizabeth Highley, 56, is accused of assaulting Crue Finley, 25, with a knife after he turned down her sexual advances at her home in Jensen Beach, Fla.
According to court papers, Highley was entertaining Finley at her home on June 16 when she “wanted to have sex,“ but he “rejected her sexual advances causing her to become angry and violent.”
That's when Highley allegedly used a large knife to cut Finley’s left thumb as he fled her home and called the police, notes The Smoking Gun.
St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office deputies found Highley allegedly running after Finley, carrying the knife and a broken cane.
The police report stated that Highley was “angry, crying and appeared to be intoxicated” when she was arrested and charged with felony assault.
She later bailed out of jail and is scheduled for a July 11 court appearance.
