An unidentified police officer allegedly struck a 12-year-old boy, who was being handcuffed by a group of cops on Wednesday in New York City.

A second 12-year-old was also handcuffed.

Bystander Sarah Doneghy, who filmed a video (below) of the incident, is heard yelling at the officers, "Hey, hey, hey, stop it, get off of him!"

Doneghy wrote on her YouTube page, “This happened today on my way to the post office. The kids were 12. They had supposedly pushed one of their classmates down. However when the victim was asked, he said those weren’t the guys. They were still taken away. 12. Years. Old.”

More witnesses yelled at the NYPD officers during the arrest.

"I'm a lawyer, I can't believe you just did that," yelled a female witness.

“You guys, yo, need a different profession," added the lawyer, noted "Go to war, this isn’t a war, this is a 12-year-old kid.”

(The alleged punching happens near the 12-second mark on the video below.)
