A Florida man accused of molesting a child was out on bond before being arrested again for allegedly raping and infecting a five-year-old girl.

"The daughter was having some physical issues and the mother took her to the doctor, All Children's. It was there that they discovered that she tested positive for an STD," said police spokesperson Yolanda Fernandez, reports ABC News.

Michael Pittman, 27, was previously sentenced to jail for molesting a nine-year-old girl in 2014.

A witnesses saw Pittman fondling the child and reported it to the police.

"He had threatened his victim and told her that he would beat her if she told anybody. We see that over and over in these types of abuse cases, and so, because of the threat, she was afraid to talk about it." Fernandez said.

Pittman knew both children personally.

Despite the charges, some of his family members refuse to believe he is guilty.

"I really don't think he did that. Honestly, I don't think he did it," said Keyshawn Williams, Pittman's younger cousin. "Babysitted me before. That's why I'm like, it's shocking to hear about him having sexual intercourse with a kid."

Pittman’s not the first man to rape and infect a child with an STD, the Metro reports.

Thirty-four-year-old David Wilson of Texas was charged with molesting a 14-year-old girl and a 23-month-old child. Both were infected with STDs.

“[The toddler] had to have been sexually assaulted as evidenced by the presence of three sexually transmitted diseases,” a doctor said.

Doctors were forced to perform reconstructive surgery on the toddler after they found a growth on her genitals.

Wilson showed no regret over the relationship with teenager.

“I am not sorry we were together, no, I am sorry the HIV came into the situation,” he said.

“I never denied about us having a relationship,” Wilson added.

Wilson had previously been in jail in 2005 for sexually assaulting a teenager.
