McKelvey’s death is still under investigation, according to District Attorney Rick Wesenberg and an autopsy is scheduled this week at the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police believe McKelvey called 911 to report two men who were harassing him. McKelvey allegedly ran into traffic before deputies used the weapons on him.

However, Roseburg police refused to describe what methods officers used on McKelvey.
