Violence recently broke out at a Walmart store in Deerfield Beach, Fla. where Walmart employee Willie Mitchell allegedly fired shots at the car of a fellow worker, who had won "Employee of the Month."

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, a Walmart surveillance video (below) showed Mitchell in his car, rolling down a back window and firing a shot into the car belonging to the other employee, who was not in her automobile.

According to Fox News, the shooting happened hours after the unidentified victim had been named "Employee of the Month." The victim told police that “during an argument Mitchell told her repeatedly, ‘I’m gonna show you.’”

Mitchell was charged with discharging a firearm from a vehicle.

“[The victim] was announced as the employee of the month which you would think that would be something good, people would be happy for her,” Broward County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright told CBS Miami. “But there was one employee who wasn’t happy.”

“Perhaps [Mitchell] wanted to be employee of the month but clearly these actions that we saw in response to this, I think we see why he wasn’t chosen as employee of the month,” added Coleman-Wright.
