Video: Roger Pion Destroys Seven Police Vehicles with Tractor

| by Michael Allen

In Newport, Vermont, Roger Pion, a farmer, used his tractor to allegedly destroy six police cars and an unmarked van  belonging to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department (video below).

Pion was furious over being arrested on July 3 for marijuana possession.

Chief Deputy Sheriff Phil Brooks told the Burlington Free Press: “It’s more than half our fleet. We have 11 cars.”

Newport Express Publisher Ken Wells said: “It was a massive tractor. It has four six-foot tandem wheels on the back. It was red. It must be at least a 15-ton tractor.”

Pion allegedly destroyed the vehicles, ditched the tractor and raw away on foot, before being arrested, reports WPTZ-TV.
