Katie Wilkins may have died of natural causes on Saturday, but her family is asking for help in answering questions they still have surrounding her death.
The 25-year-old graphic designer was found dead, alone in her parents' garage, amid unusual circumstances, in Malibu, California.
Wilkins' brother Steve discovered Katie's body in the garage of the home, where she was visiting. He also found the washing machine still running and food left on the stove. Wilkins' BMW was stolen and the home showed signs of Katie having a visitor.
Her father Rob told ABC News (video below):"We're working with the police detectives to try to find leads to try find out who may have done this. All of a sudden, a bunch of questions came through. What happened? How could she be left like this? Was she alone?"
Lieutenant Dave Dolson told the LA Weekly: "It appears that there was no foul play involved." But police are "still looking for the car" and someone who will "help put some pieces together."
The medical examiner's office has tentatively ruled Wilkins' death "natural" but is still awaiting toxicology reports.
