An MSNBC host is accusing the lawyer for Trayvon Martin killer George Zimmerman of being too "scared" to be on his show, "has literally run away" from a scheduled interview.
Host Lawrence O'Donnell said attorney Craig Sonner was supposed to be on his show Monday night. O'Donnell said Sonner was in the studio ready to go when he got "terrified" and left. O'Donnell thinks his upcoming line of questioning was going to be too tough for Sonner to handle.
"Craig Sonner has been the first guest in the history of this particular show, to get scared, to be terrified, so terrified of coming on this show that he has literally run away. He's in our car right now, taking him home from our studio, afraid to face the questioning he would face on this show," O'Donnell said.
O'Donnell then went on to interview Sonner's empty chair.
